Peppermint Bark Snowflakes

I haven't posted in a long long time! It's a new year and I plan on changing that. My goal is at least 3 times a month. :)
For Christmas every year I give baking gifts. This year I gave Peppermint Bark. Which if you don't know is one the easiest gifts to make and its so delicious.

Peppermint Bark

Crushed candy canes, to yield 1/2- 1 cup
1 pound white chocolate
1 pound semi- sweet, milk, or dark chocolate
Shortening
Pure peppermint extract

Melt the semi sweet chocolate with shortening.
Add extract
Then place melted chocolate in silicone trays or on parchment paper
Let chill
Melt the white chocolate
Then place melted white chocolate on top of semi sweet chocolate. ( you can mix in candy canes or just top with candy canes)
Let chill again for a few hours.
Break it up or pop out of silicone trays and its ready to be served or given as gifts.

My Little Pony Chocolate Candies!

Life during the holidays has been so busy! But, I'm back!!! My oldest Anyce, just turned 4. I wanted to share one of the party favors. I made My little Pony chocolate candies for the first time. Wow, could it be any easier! I think I'm going to start trying more advanced chocolates.
